Game Highlights

Game is played on a special China Dragon Layout (BJ size table) with up to 7 players.

Each player position has 4 wagering levels: Level 1 is the Ante; Level 2 is the Bet 1, Level 3 is bet 2 and Level 4 is the Bet 3. The wagering amount at each level is predetermined. Bet 1 and 2 are equal to the Ante. Bet 3 is twice the Ante amount.

A square located just above the dealer's rack with the words "Fury of the Dragon", which is where the card is posted.

A 51 card deck consisting of 16 ace's, 16 twos, 16 threes and 3 jokers.

There must be at least 2 players to start the game.

Object of the Game

To successfully hold 5 playing cards whose total numeric value is higher than that of any of the other players.

Game Play

All players are required to post an Ante bet in order to begin the hand. The house will set the ante amount which is the game's minimum.

The player's must also post a collection fee for the house. This fee is set by the house based on the market. The recommended fee is 50 cents up to $5 Ante and $1 for $10 Antes and greater.

The dealer will follow house rules for shuffling a single deck.

The dealer will deliver 3 cards face down to each player. This is done in the same fashion as Pai Gow. The exception here is that the dealer only deals as many hands as there are players.

The players look at their hands and decide whether to stay in or fold. If they fold the dealer will take their cards and place them in the discard rack and place their Ante in the pot area.

The players will count the cards up to see what their totals are. Each card has the value of the # on the card. The Joker has a value of 2.

If the player likes their hand total, they must place a bet equal to the Ante bet in the Bet 1 box.

The dealer will burn 1 card and turn the next card in the deck face up in the Fury of the Dragon box. If that card is an ace, 2, or 3, all cards matching that card in the deck now have a value of zero. If a player has 3-threes in their hand and the Fury of the Dragon card is a three, the player now has a hand value of zero. If the Fury of the Dragon card is a Joker, all cards play at their face value and no cards are dead. Remember the Joker always has a value of 2. It is recommended that any player with 3 or less points at this stage in the game fold. It is not mandatory, just basic strategy.

The players now need to re-evaluate the value of their hands and make a decision as to continue or fold. If they chose to continue, they must post a bet 1 times the Ante in the Bet 2 circle. If they fold their cards and bets will be taken by the dealer.

The dealer now gives all remaining players 2 more cards face down.

The players will add those 2 cards to their first 3 cards and calculate the hand value. If they feel they have the best hand, they place a bet 2 times the ante in the bet 3 area. If they don't like their totals, they fold.

The dealer will ask all players to turn their hands face up so the dealer can determine the winner(s). The player(s) with the highest total card value wins the pot. If more than one player has the high hand value, the pot is split equally amongst the winners.

There is no house or player banker in this game!

The house does provide a dealer to deal the game.
